ISAF CONDEMS THE BOMBING IN BAGHLAN PROVINCE
KABUL, Afghanistan (May 20, 2013) – The International Security Assistance Force joins President Karzai in strongly condemning the suicide attack outside the Baghlan Provincial Council Headquarters that killed and injured a number of Afghan civilians, including the Head of the Provincial Council, Rasul Khan Mohsini.
"We stand with the Afghan leadership in condemning the attack on the Baghlan Provincial Council, which killed many Afghan civilians," said Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, the ISAF commander. “Innocent civilians and public servants were killed and injured because of the insurgency’s indiscriminate use of suicide attacks. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who were killed and injured in today’s attack.”
